THE BRIEF

Great work, buried on a dated site.

Gabe McVey builds some of the finest custom homes on Kauai, with three decades of high-end residential work behind him. His website said none of that. The old site was dated, with no real calls to action, no hierarchy to guide a visitor, and photos that undersold the craftsmanship.

For a luxury builder, the website is the first walkthrough. It needed to earn the same trust his finished homes do.

The Squarespace rebuild started with hierarchy: who this is for, what McVey builds, proof that it is exceptional, and a clear path to a conversation. Project galleries lead with the work, service pages answer the questions high-end clients actually ask, and every page ends with a way to get in touch.

Just as important was the content direction. I advised Gabe to invest in professional photography and drone video of his builds, and the new imagery transformed the site from telling to showing.
